Training and Services
Training has been identified as a continuing and major issue for the tourism and cultural industries. We are therefore very pleased to provide our members and readers with this new section to keep you apprised of the latest and most innovative training being offered.
The Binational Tourism Alliance is collaborating with various Academic, Business and Tourism specialists to deliver an array of tourism training:
1) Tourism Pro - modular training for cultural and tourism operators and organizations delivered in partnership with Niagara University as a result of Oishei Foundation funding
2) Binational Niagara Media Fam Tour - in partnership with CVBs and DMOs on both sides of the Niagara River and supported by Empire State Development and the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation
As well, we will list training recommended by our members and provided by other tourism agencies and partners for your ease of reference under our "Partner Training Resources".
We will be contacting our members during January to get their feedback on best training experiences and will incorporate these comments and suggestions into this section.
