Medaille College

With three locations in Western New York, Medaille College offers undergraduate and graduate degrees through day, evening, weekend and online programs.

Established as Medaille College in 1968, the institution has earlier roots stretching back to 1875, when the Sisters of St. Joseph began an Institute “to educate and prepare teachers for charitable and educational societies.” This began a tradition of education that continues to benefit learners and workers in the region.

Over 2,600 students are enrolled at campuses in Buffalo, Amherst and Rochester, NY. A significant number of students from Ontario, Canada, attend the Amherst Campus for graduate programs in elementary and secondary education, business, leadership, and mental health counseling.

In addition to residence halls and NCAA athletics teams for undergraduate students, the College offers associate and bachelor’s degrees, with popular programs in Sport Management, Education, Criminal Justice and Communication.

Programs at the Amherst and Rochester Campuses are designed with adult and graduate students in mind, offering convenient schedules and cohort-based learning.

Graduates from all campuses enter into a network of over 12,000 alumni, many of whom work and live in Western New York and Southern Ontario, making valuable contributions in the fields of business, education, communication and social services.
