Partner Training Resources
As described earlier in this Training Section, thanks to the Oishei Foundation, the BTA is partnering with Niagara University to delivery Cultural Tourism Training to Western New York culturals beginning in 2007.
Niagara University will deliver Customer Service and Cultural Concierge training components concurrently with the BTA Tourism Pro modules to assist with Cultural Tourism product and service development. Training will be provided in small class settings, allowing partners to build their professional development networks and put their learnings into practice upon return to the workplace.
We will also provide a variety of on-line training and follow-up resources to our industry partners, set new standards and performance measurements for participants, and report on the progress and improvements being made at a site and community level.
This section will also include training recommendations by our members and contact information for those organizations offering new and innovative training in the U.S. and Canada.

The seminars address areas where customer service challenges exist, provide tools so both the internal and external challenges faced will decrease in either severity and/or frequency.
